Scope
These guidelines apply to every Goose.re account, short link, branded domain, bio page, QR code, API request, and other service interaction. They are intended to protect users, recipients, infrastructure, and the wider web.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for the destinations, content, and campaigns connected to it.
Section 2
Responsible use
Use Goose.re only for destinations and communications you are authorized to publish. Links should accurately represent their purpose and must not be used to mislead recipients about who is sending them or where they lead.
- Keep account and destination information accurate.
- Respect consent, intellectual property, and applicable law.
- Secure your account and access credentials.
- Use expiration and access controls where appropriate.
Section 3
Prohibited use
Do not use Goose.re to facilitate, promote, conceal, or distribute the following:
Spam and unwanted outreach
Unsolicited bulk email, SMS, automated posting, deceptive promotion, or campaigns that disregard consent and opt-out requirements.
Phishing and deception
Credential theft, impersonation, payment scams, misleading destinations, or social engineering intended to manipulate recipients.
Malware and harmful code
Malware, spyware, ransomware, malicious downloads, exploit delivery, or software designed to damage or gain unauthorized access.
Illegal or harmful content
Fraud, illegal goods or services, exploitation, credible threats, unlawful harassment, or content that violates applicable law.
Rights infringement
Content or campaigns that infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights without a lawful basis.
Platform abuse and evasion
Bypassing safeguards, hiding prohibited destinations, interfering with service operation, scraping without authorization, or evading enforcement.
Section 4
Your responsibilities
Maintain reasonable control over who can access your account and API credentials. Review your active links and remove or update destinations that are no longer accurate, authorized, or safe.
Active links remain available unless you set an expiration, disable them, or they are restricted under these guidelines. Custom expiration should be used for temporary or time-sensitive destinations.
Section 5
API and automation
Standard limit: 60 requests per minute per IP. Additional endpoint, account, or plan-specific controls may apply.
Automation must not overload the service, bypass technical restrictions, enumerate data, probe for vulnerabilities, or create links for prohibited campaigns. Respect rate-limit responses and retry only after the indicated window.
Section 6
Enforcement
When we identify a suspected violation, we may review the link, destination, associated activity, and available context. Depending on severity and risk, Goose.re may:
- disable or restrict a redirect or destination;
- limit features, API access, or related account activity;
- request additional information or corrective action; or
- suspend or terminate access in serious or repeated cases.
Section 7
Reporting a concern
If you encounter a Goose.re or branded short link that may violate these guidelines, submit the exact link and the closest matching reason. Useful context helps us understand the concern, but avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Section 8
Changes to these guidelines
We may update these guidelines as the service, relevant risks, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest published version.
