Teams & permissions
Give colleagues a shared workspace and the access they need to contribute, manage campaigns, or review results.
What is a team workspace?
A team workspace brings your links, custom domains, bio pages, and analytics together for collaboration. Each person signs in with their own account, and their role and folder permissions determine what they can access and change.
Switching workspaces
You can belong to several teams. Use the dashboard's team switcher to choose the workspace you want to work in, and confirm the active team before creating content or changing settings.
Choosing a role
Goose.re uses role-based access control (RBAC) to define each person's responsibilities. Choose a role for each collaborator, then use folder permissions to refine access to specific projects.
Owner
The workspace creator is its Owner, with full administrative control. Owners manage team settings and membership, assign Admin roles, and can delete the workspace.
Admin
Admins manage day-to-day work across the workspace, including content, custom domains, analytics, and member access. Workspace deletion and assigning the Admin role remain with the Owner.
Member
Members contribute to campaigns within the access granted to them. Folder permissions determine whether they can view, edit, or manage the content in a project, so access can vary between folders.
Viewer
Viewers can review the content and analytics they have access to without making changes. Use this role for clients and stakeholders who need visibility into campaign performance.
Managing members
Open the relevant team's member settings to invite collaborators, review pending invitations, or update existing access.
- Open member settings: Select Teams in your dashboard, choose the workspace, and open its members list.
- Invite a collaborator: Enter their username or email address in Invite Collaborator, choose a role, and send the invitation.
- Review the invitation: The collaborator needs to sign in and accept the invitation to join. Pending invitations appear in the team's member settings.
- Manage access: As an Owner or Admin, use the member's role menu and folder permissions to adjust access. Only the Owner can assign the Admin role.
